Why wedding photography?
It’s really quite simple. I’m a fan of love. I love love. Once I got married in 2020, I loved it even more. I moved to Arkansas when I got married, and I fell in love with this beautiful state and the beautiful people inside of it. We planned on living here for only a couple of years, but God always has better plans than us, and I’m very pleased to call Conway home. It’s where my wife and I have found community and where our daughter was born. I love capturing love in the state that I love.

While there’s no correct answer to this question, I always say the sooner the better! If you’re currently engaged, you already know that you have a lot of planning to do. It’s always best to book your photographer early in the planning process—we can get fully booked pretty far in advance!

I have a very outgoing personality and a lot of energy. I absolutely thrive at the reception, photographing all the eating, dancing, and laughing. You’ll see me shooting the dance floor while also dancing myself.

I’ve been in the wedding photography business for about 8 years now. I started by working with other established wedding photographers and eventually moved on to starting my own business! I still enjoy shooting with and for other photographers as I love networking and learning from other professionals’ styles and preferences.

My college degree is in journalism, so my main focus in photography is organic storytelling. When it comes to shooting, I like to be more of a fly on the wall, capturing real moments as they happen. This doesn’t mean I don’t ever direct or assert myself when needed—I can get groomsmen and family members in place very quickly for those group shots!
As for my editing, you won’t see highly stylized edits in my portfolio. I utilize light (both natural and flash) and color to slightly emulate some classic film aesthetics while keeping up to date with modern cameras and lenses to make sure all my photos are sharp and in focus.
